About the Performance
For the first time, Björn Gustafsson is standing completely alone on stage with the show “Björn Gustafsson Live.” Well, he’s not completely alone; he’s joined by his brother Oscar Gustafsson on vocals, keyboards, and guitar, and his cousin Jonas Bleckman on cello. On a stage decorated for a Las Vegas show, they move between Björn’s stream of consciousness monologues interspersed with potential super hits and physical numbers we haven’t seen on a modern stage in a long time. One number starts before the other has finished, all delivered, to quote a reviewer, “with such timing that you have to hold onto your seat so it doesn’t bounce off with laughter.” GP writes, “…an insight into Romelanda’s most chaotic humor head and absolutely fantastically funny,” and DN thinks that “Björn Gustafsson is so lovable on stage that you just want to kiss him.” A warm welcome to a 75-minute show you’ve never experienced before!
