Citizen Nûjen – a Stand-Up Performance with Özz Nûjen

In the stand-up performance “Citizen Nûjen,” Özz Nûjen addresses the question of what it really means to be a citizen in today’s Sweden. What are our rights and what are our obligations? And what does it mean to be a citizen in a country where rights are questioned and where citizenship is no longer as obvious for everyone?

With his unique combination of infectious humor and sharp political satire, Özz addresses the political situation ahead of the upcoming Swedish elections. He examines whether election promises have been broken, investigates which politicians have promised much but delivered little, and does not hesitate to point out the parties’ betrayals of their own voters. No one is spared from his sharp gaze – all parliamentary parties can expect their fair share of Özz’s biting humor.
