Digital marketer with a focus on email, CRM and web

Uppsala Konsert och Kongress is looking for a key person for digital communication. Uppsala Konsert och Kongress (UKK) is one of Sweden’s most vibrant meeting places where music, culture and business meet under one roof – right in the heart of Uppsala. Every year, around 300 cultural events and just as many conferences, congresses and meetings are organized in our flexible premises – from world stars and dance performances to large corporate events and international networking meetings.

Your role

As a digital marketer at UKK, you have a coordinating and operational responsibility for digital communication – with a particular focus on email marketing, marketing automation, CRM management and web publishing.

You work closely with the marketing manager, editor, sales team and external partners to create accurate campaigns, strengthen customer relationships and drive conversion – always with a clear connection to ticket sales and booked meetings.

Examples of tasks

  • Email marketing, marketing automation and CRM.
  • Plan, create and analyze newsletters and automated feeds for both B2C (public) and B2B (business customers).
  • Work actively with marketing automation to build relevant customer journeys and increase conversion – from first contact to completed purchase or booking.
  • Segment audiences based on behavior, interest and history for accurate communication.
  • Maintain and develop customer databases in the CRM system with a focus on data quality, analytics and GDPR compliance.
  • Monitoring results and measuring the impact of interventions – always linked to ticket sales or booked meetings.
  • Web publishing and content.
  • Responsible for updating and optimizing UKK’s website – both the concert and conference sections.
  • Writing and publishing targeted copy that inspires ticket purchases or meeting bookings.
  • Work on SEO, structure and user experience to maximize traffic and conversion.
  • Collaborate with photographers, agencies and colleagues on visual materials and campaigns.
  • Digital advertising and analytics
  • Participate in the planning and follow-up of digital advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) in collaboration with the UKK digital agency.
  • Ensuring that advertising supports current campaigns and contributes to sales and bookings.
  • Analyze and report results from digital efforts – focusing on ROI, conversion rates and sales outcomes.
  • Participate in CRM, automation and digital communication development projects that strengthen UKK’s digital presence and business goals.

We are looking for people who

  • Has post-secondary education in digital marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
  • Have proven experience in email marketing and marketing automation – preferably in combination with CRM work.
  • Has basic experience in digital advertising, especially on Meta platforms, and is used to working with external agencies.
  • Have worked with web publishing (preferably in WordPress) and have an understanding of SEO and UX.
  • Good analytical skills and used to linking statistics to ticket sales and booked meetings.
  • Is a confident writer in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

  • Experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Experience of working in the conference or cultural sector.
  • Interest in music, culture and experiential communication.
