Uppsala Konsert & Kongress is looking for experienced waiters with a sense of service, food and drink.

Since its opening in 2007, UKK has become a well-known, appreciated and successful meeting place for culture and business. Hundreds of cultural events, conferences, meetings, parties, fairs, lectures, bar evenings and exhibitions are held here every year. On 14,000 square meters in the middle of a growing city where creativity, culture, inspiration, research and entrepreneurship thrive.
UKK’s Food and Beverage department is the heart of the building and consists of a restaurant, kitchen and several bars. We deliver everything from today’s lunch and afternoon coffee to break service, artist service and large banquet dinners for up to 850 guests. We create experiences that make a difference – and now we are looking for you who want to be part of lifting the team to new heights.
Job Responsibilities
About the service:
As a server with us, you work with:
- Lunch and dinner service in connection with our concert activities
- Coffee, lunch and dinner service for conferences and banquets
- Bar and cashier work
- Preparation and set-up of premises and bars for events
- The work is varied and often fast-paced
- Evening and weekend work is frequent
We are looking for people who:
- have at least 1 year of proven experience in serving in a restaurant
- have at least 6 months of bar work experience and can serve simple drinks
- are confident in your professional role and used to taking responsibility during service

- Always delivering top-class service
- Handles criticism with calm, professionalism and sensitivity
- Actively working on upselling as a natural part of service
- Contributes to an inclusive and respectful work environment
- Takes responsibility for order, procedures and cooperation in the team
- Are used to and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while being structured and thorough
Form of employment
Permanent employment 75% with initial probationary period of 6 months.
Work on weekends and evenings occurs frequently. Salary by agreement.
Start date
March 2026 or as agreed.
