About the Performance
Uno is “On the Road Again” with a new spring tour! After a 40th-anniversary celebration as an artist that has been celebrated all over the country, Uno Svenningsson is ready to meet the audience again. This spring, he will embark on the tour “On the Road Again” – an intimate, soulful, and festive journey through Sweden that begins in his hometown of Gothenburg and lands here in Uppsala on February 27. On stage, a repertoire will be delivered that mixes new material with beloved classics.
“After 40 years on stage and a fantastic anniversary tour during 2024, I have longed to come back out and meet the audience again. On the Road Again will be both a continuation and a fresh start — intimate, honest, and full of wonderful music,” says Uno Svenningsson.
About Uno Svenningsson
Uno Svenningsson (born 1959) is one of Sweden’s most beloved singer-songwriters. He broke through as the frontman of the 1980s pop group Freda’ and quickly established himself with his melodic songwriting and his warm, recognizable singing voice. As a solo artist, Uno has continued to write timeless songs that touch on love, everyday life, and human relationships, and he is known for his ability to create an intimate feeling even in larger concerts. After four decades on stage, he continues to be a strong live act and a central voice in Swedish pop.
