About the Performance

The very popular and joyful show Äldregalan makes its first stop in Uppsala – with a program filled with joy, great music and humor. Our eminent and renowned cicerone Jacke Sjödin is ready to take you through a full evening of guest artists. As before, founder Robin Hörnkvist and the 7-piece band led by Pär-Åke Stockberg will be on stage in 2026 . Guest artists for the year will be no less than the beautiful-singing dance band legend Christer Sjögren and the popular artist Linnea Henriksson.

Christer Sjögren

An icon of the Swedish music world, known for his unique voice, charismatic stage presence and long career that few artists can match. Since his breakthrough in 1978 as the frontman of Vikingarna, one of the Nordic region’s most prominent dance bands, he has gone from dance bands to interpretations of Elvis, Sinatra and more.

Linnea Henriksson

In fifteen years as a performer and songwriter, Linnea has established herself as one of our most popular pop artists. As a live artist, she is one of the most acclaimed for her unique stage presence and can make any stage her own. Linnea lets her audience get really close, both through her strong song lyrics with great recognition, and through her personal interludes.

Jacke Sjödin

The Uppsala-based Jacke Sjödin has now been the host of our Äldregala for more years than we can count on our hands. An extremely popular entertainer who has the ability to make the arenas bubble with laughter. With his unique way of performing rhymes, taking the live moments and creating unforgettable experiences, we know for sure that it will be a success when he steps on stage.

Robin Hörnkvist

As you know, Robin is the one who once started the Elderly Gala. If musical joy had a face, Robin would be an obvious candidate. With a warm smile, he charms the audience as he has done for many years. As always, there is a wonderful variety of genres together with the band and guest artists. Show at its best!

Pär-Åke Stockberg’s 7-piece band

Äldregalans very popular house band! The band consists of Pär-Åke Stockberg on piano and saxophone, Christian Sundeqvist on drums, Per Nordgren on guitar, Patrik Grundström on bass, Örjan Abrahamsson on saxophone, Anders Johansson on trumpet and Angelica Wiik on choir and percussion.
