As many as twelve places will be visited by RIX FM this summer and Uppsala will be tour city number five when RIX FM Festival comes to Vaksala torg on August 5.
Not since 2013 has RIX FM met the audience in Uppsala, who can look forward to a colorful summer party together with Sweden’s artist elite and RIX FM’s own presenters. For the 27th year in a row, RIX FM Festival goes out into summer Sweden and meets RIX FM’s listeners from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south.
– “The RIX FM Festival tour has grown to become Europe’s largest radio event and the idea is simple. Together with our partners, artists and record labels, we offer a unique music experience with free admission as a thank you for listening,” says Anders Sjöland, Marketing Director at Viaplay Group Radio.
– “Rix Fm Festival will be one of the highlights of the summer with beloved artists and a folk festival on Vaksala square for all ages,” says Henrik Lillsjö, CEO and artistic director of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress.
The RIX FM Festival in Uppsala is part of Sommar på UKK.
