About the Performance

Prepare yourself for a musical experience beyond the ordinary! The European Guitar Quartet brings together four of Europe’s most prominent guitarists in a unique encounter between classical tradition and modern musical creativity.

The quartet consists of Zoran Dukić from Croatia, Pavel Steidl from the Czech Republic and Germans Thomas Fellow and Reentko Dirks. All four strong musical personalities who together create one of the guitar world’s most exciting guitar ensembles.

With roots in the classical guitar tradition and an openness to influences from jazz, flamenco, tango and world music, the European Guitar Quartet offers a luxurious concert experience in so many ways. Their interplay is characterized by virtuosity, musical curiosity and an unusual breadth of expression. Not to mention joy!
