Marcus Berggren Hittar hem

About the Show

If you blinked, you probably missed that he’s been away from stand-up, but now the acclaimed and fearless comedian Marcus Berggren is back on the stand-up stage. After a sold-out spring run at the Liseberg Theater in Gothenburg, he’ll be touring this fall and in the spring of 2027.

Has the show turned out the way you imagined?

“I’m doing my dream show—the one I myself would have wanted to see. It’s a wild mix of stand-up, music, poetry, improvisation, and audience interaction. But it’s only now that I’ve had the knowledge to pull it off.” “I feel like one of those karate apprentices who’s been up on the mountain training with a grumpy old grandmaster, and now I’ve come down to show off my new moves,” says Marcus.

When Marcus Berggren returns to the stand-up stage with his new show, “Marcus Berggren Finds His Way Home,” the program description reads: 75 minutes of nonstop comedy delivered at machine-gun speed. A chance to leave your worries in the lobby and step into Marcus’s cheerful world of absurd everyday humor. The show is about one simple thing: moving home. And one difficult thing: finding home. And all the hilarious missteps along the way.
Marcus also brings a guitar—but no inhibitions. Plus a poem about a guy named Göran.

Is it possible to find your way home during an entire tour?

-Yeah, there are so many cities to call home. The only thing I love more than Gothenburg is leaving here, so I can come back home again. This time, it feels extra exciting to head out because I feel like Santa Claus bringing a Christmas present people didn’t even know they wanted. I feel like one of those con artists selling a “miracle cure” that actually works, says Marcus.
