Owner’s Guidelines
Uppsala Konsert & Kongress AB is a wholly owned municipal company and is part of the municipal group Uppsala Stadshus AB. Our operations are governed by directives from our owner, the City of Uppsala, and our board of directors. Our primary and most important governing instrument is our owner directives.
Company-Specific Shareholder Guidelines
Through its operations, the company shall contribute to the development of the tourism industry in the Municipality of Uppsala and strengthen Uppsala as an attractive city in which to live, work, and spend time.
Through its activities, the company aims to be a vibrant meeting place characterized by a blend of music and culture, and which, through its high-quality offerings—both broad and specialized—attracts and inspires people of different ages and lifestyles to come together—locally, nationally, and internationally.
The company shall contribute to a vibrant city center based on its geographic location in the concert and convention center at Vaksala Square, as well as attract and develop events.
The company shall collaborate within the municipal group and contribute to cooperation between public and private actors in the fields of culture, conferences, and events, as well as with community organizations and the independent cultural sector.
