Organizer Information

The venue rental includes use of existing electrical outlets and electricity usage (220v/10A/2000w). Additional electricity and extension cords are quoted upon request.

Free wireless internet connection is available throughout the building. However, the network capacity is limited when many users connect simultaneously. If you have special requirements for high capacity and secure connection, we are happy to offer this in connection with the conference booking.

All serving and sales of food, including fruit and beverages, is handled by UKK, and the organizer does not have the right to hire external suppliers or offer food or beverages themselves in UKK’s premises. The exception is promotional candy that is wrapped in plastic or paper.

All premises are accessibility-adapted. Elevators are available to all halls. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on all floors. You can read more about accessibility for visitors via the link below.

The cloakroom is located on the ground floor. There are free lockable lockers and hangers. For larger events, we recommend staffed cloakroom and bag check-in. On floor 7, there are about 200 hangers with locks.

Daily cleaning of restrooms and public areas is included in the venue rental. For special needs, extra cleaning is charged, especially in connection with moving in and out of exhibitions.

The freight elevator has a maximum capacity of 6,800 kg

To use the area around Uppsala Concert & Congress, a permit from the police is required. The exception is our outdoor stage facing Vaksala torg and the outdoor seating area. A possible fee to Uppsala Municipality for land rental may apply.

A pallet jack is available for loan at Uppsala Concert & Congress.

Parking at the loading dock is only allowed for loading and unloading – permits for this are issued by Uppsala Concert & Congress.

Parking spaces for people with mobility impairments are available outside Uppsala Concert & Congress on Storgatan. A special permit from the Swedish Transport Agency is required. UKK has no other visitor parking, but there are parking garages and parking spaces within walking distance. The nearest are Centralgaraget and in Kvarnen’s parking garage, Svavagallerian, S.t Per-gallerian, and at Österplan. More information about parking is available from Uppsala Parking.

Uppsala Parking

Registration desks are available for rent from us, and registration is usually carried out on the ground floor adjacent to the cloakroom and toilets.

There are six flagpoles, three facing Vaksala torg and three facing Storgatan. The flagpoles are twelve meters high and made for traditional flags that are hung on the short side with a line. The long side of the flag should be a maximum of four meters.

The fire alarm installed in the building is always activated with a direct alarm to the fire department.
