What is “enthusiasm for the future”?
The purpose of Framtidsglöd is to promote engagement with the future, the climate, and our environment. In previous years, we’ve had organizations from both civil society and the public sector, artists, and school students, to name a few. This year, we’re once again committed to creating an atmosphere that puts sustainable living front and center, featuring exciting stage performances and booths with various organizations—all of which are working in some way toward a sustainable future.
According to UNICEF, scientific research and experiences from around the world have shown that climate change is the greatest threat to the world’s children and young people. We adults must take responsibility! Climate change is a children’s rights issue, which is why Framtidsglöd is especially important to us at the Children’s Ombudsman.
In collaboration with Världsklass Uppsala, CEMUS, and Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, the Children’s Ombudsman is organizing the Framidsglöd Sustainability Festival at UKK.
