About the Performance

Welcome to Uppsala’s most secret concert: the first Carte Blanche of the year ! The concert series has long been a great success, where Trio X and invited guests are on stage with hundreds in the audience.

A popular concert concept

Since its inception in 2010, Carte Blanche has been a success and the surprise element of the concert is twofold! First, Trio X invites two guests who are secret to the audience. One of these guests is then asked to invite another guest who is also a secret to Trio X.

Through this concept, audiences have experienced many exciting and unique musical encounters curated by Trio X.

Playfulness at the center

The idea of Carte Blanche is to create an unpretentious playfulness through its secret guests, where the relaxed and musical atmosphere is allowed to spread from the stage to the large audience.

Trio X

Trio X is one of Sweden’s most renowned piano trios. The trio’s distinctive feature is exploratory and cross-border music and the experienced musicians are inspired by many genres.

The Restaurant

You are welcome from 14:00 when the restaurant opens.

In the restaurant, you’ll find, besides hot and cold beverages, shrimp sandwiches and pastries, a selection of hot dishes, soup, and salad.
