About the Performance

After the success of “Mamma Ljuger”, where they attracted 60,000 visitors to almost 150 performances, Jan Bylund and Mattias Lundberg are back on stage with a new humor show that is unlike anything else.

In ‘Does this make me look fat? – Dad lies too” promises 90 minutes of non-stop laughter and recognition, where they humorously celebrate the women in their lives and offer generous insights into everything we dare – and dare not – say about relationships.

Bylund & Lundberg direct their sharp, northern humor at the brutal truth: that women are superior to men, while at the same time revealing the follies that men have always done:

– Why do they have to grill at all costs?
– Why do men think they will die as soon as they catch a cold?
– Why don’t they know the names of their children’s teachers, when they know the 1978 Liverpool line-up?

All this and much more is explained in a humorous show that is a loving tribute to all the women who actually put up with the men in their lives.

“Does this make me look fat?” is an accurate and heartfelt comedy that depicts the rollercoaster of life.

With great warmth, witty points and raw honesty, a laughter-filled performance is served up about everything from the little secrets of relationships to the big questions of life:

– Do you think she’s prettier than me?
– If I die, would you remarry?
– Are you really going to wear those pants?

The show also serves as a friendly reminder to you men that despite being, in your own mind, absolutely perfect – you couldn’t do without your women. Sure, you can change a tire and drill a shelf (with a little help from YouTube), but when it comes to finding your own socks, it’s a whole different story. It’s your wife who reminds you that you forgot to turn off the light in the garage – again. So while you may not always admit it out loud, we all know that women are your invisible project managers, life coaches and GPS devices in everyday life.

Prepare for an evening filled with laughter and insights. This is one show you won’t want to miss!
