On January 30, Jacke Sjödin invites you to the January Party, this year at UKK, featuring Babben Larsson, the Rongedal Brothers, and a large musical ensemble. Expect an evening filled with humor, music, and a much-needed end to January!

About the Show
After the excesses of Christmas, empty wallets, and electricity bills that never seem to end, there’s every reason to celebrate that the first month of the year is almost over. The January Party has become an annual tradition in Uppsala and will take place in 2027 in the Main Hall at UKK. Behind the party is wordsmith Jacke Sjödin, who will also host the evening. Joining him are Babben Larsson—equally at home as a singer and a stand-up comedian—and the Rongedal Brothers, the close-knit singing twins who move effortlessly between musical genres.
The music is brought to life by the Uppsala Wind Symphony, one of Sweden’s leading amateur wind orchestras with over 50 musicians, under the direction of conductor Leif Karlsson. Also on stage is Uppsala’s own Trio X, featuring Lennart Simonsson, Hans Backenroth, and Jocke Ekberg, known for their musical versatility and numerous collaborations.
Together, they present a performance where laughter, song, and magnificent orchestral music come together. One day, one performance, and a truly good reason to look forward to January.
