Put your phone away for a moment and take a seat at the chessboard.
Organized by the Uppsala School Chess Club (USSS), you’re welcome to challenge a friend, face a new opponent, or improve your game alongside experienced chess players. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, there’s always someone to play against. Schackmatt is an open gathering place where strategy, community, and spontaneous encounters take center stage, right in the middle of summer.

Baby Salsa with Maria Llerena
Maria Llerena has worked with music, song and dance for children of all ages. Many generations of children in Sweden have had Maria as their music and dance teacher.
Baby Salsa Rhythmik is based on the rocking movements of the womb. Continue dancing and singing with your baby after birth! Around conga drums we sing and dance with our babies. We drum and clap to the beat of Swedish nursery rhymes in African and Latin American style.
