Couple of Grooves – Urban Corner
Welcome to Urban Corner, a full day filled with music, contests, and an awesome atmosphere.
We play hip-hop and R&B with that golden sound from the ’90s and ’00s, no matter when the song was released. For us, it’s not about the year—it’s about the vibe. Just really good music.
Throughout the day, we’ll also spice things up with favorites from Dancehall, Reggaeton, Afrobeat, and Latin music. Between DJ sets, you can challenge your friends to fun music contests, collect checkmarks in Urban Bingo, and compete for great prizes.
Come for the music. Stay for the experience.

6:00 p.m. GAME: Intro Challenge
Can you recognize the song in just a few seconds? Be the first to give the right answer and show who knows music best.
6:40 p.m. GAME: This or That
Choose a side before the answer is revealed. The ’90s or the ’00s? Timbaland or DJ Premier? East Coast or West Coast? Trust your gut.
7:20 p.m. GAME: Finish the Lyric
Complete the lyrics to classic hip-hop and R&B hits, beat your opponents, and take home the title of today’s lyric champion.
8:00 p.m. GAME: Guess the Song
Listen to the original sample and be the first to guess which hip-hop or R&B song used it.
8:10 p.m.–9:00 p.m. OPEN DANCEFLOOR
