About the Performance
A long-awaited musical encounter becomes reality when Lisa Nilsson steps on stage together with Bohuslän Big Band – one of Sweden’s most renowned and recently Grammy-nominated big bands. The evening is led by conductor and organizer Calle Rasmusson. Here they are united in the common love of jazz.
The concert is based on Lisa’s acclaimed album Uteblivna vi, in new specially written big band arrangements that lift the music to new heights. In addition, the audience is offered selected favorites from Lisa’s rich song treasure – all performed with warmth and an irresistible swing.
Lisa Nilsson
Lisa Nilsson had her big break in 1992 with the critically acclaimed album Himlen runt hörnet, which sold 450,000 copies and established her as one of the most prominent artists in the Nordic region. With her critically acclaimed album Uteblivna vi, she has further consolidated her position as one of the most important voices in the Nordic region.
