About the Performance
Three master guitarists from three musical traditions come together in a unique transatlantic musical link. The multinational Transatlantic Guitar Trio brings together British fingerstyle virtuoso Richard Smith, German gypsy swing star Joscho Stephan and American multi-instrumentalist Rory Hoffman.
Together they take us on a winding musical journey where gypsy jazz, fingerstyle, jazz, country and their own compositions meet in a personal and dynamic interplay. Inspired by legends such as Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed, the trio offers a concert filled with joy, virtuosity and improvisation at the highest level.
Before the evening’s concert, we will have the opportunity to meet the musicians in an exclusive workshop.
