About the Event

Are you curious about politics, want to ask your own questions to decision-makers or just experience a day filled with energy, conversation and inspiration? Then don’t miss the Election Festival at Vaksala torg!

We’re creating a vibrant and inclusive gathering place where democracy takes center stage—with a special focus on young people and first-time voters. Here, political parties, party-affiliated youth organizations, the City of Uppsala, and engaged civil society actors come together to give you a unique opportunity to:

  • Learn more about how elections work
  • Participate in conversations and ask questions directly to politicians
  • Take part in cultural events and activities

In the run-up to the festival, we will also be collecting questions so that your concerns can be addressed on site!

Bring a friend, your curiosity and your vote – see you at the Election Festival at Vaksala Square!

The Election Festival is organized by Uppsala Konsert och Kongress with the support of Uppsala Libraries and several departments in Uppsala Municipality.

Ask Uppsala’s politicians your question!
