About the Event
“Allt ljus på Uppsala ” kicks off this year’s festival, themed “Courage. Patience.,” with short talks and meet-and-greets with the organizers and artists.
The light installation *To Those Who Wait* will be on display on the facade of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress throughout the *Allt ljus på Uppsala* festival.

The Inauguration
Bring someone you care about and kick off the festival with us—together, we’ll count down to the moment the first installations light up as the November darkness falls.
Gather your friends, coworkers, or family and be the first to experience the light installations—talk about what you see and feel how the city transforms in the light.
Dress warmly and feel free to arrive a few minutes before the start.
To Those Who Wait
UKK’s facade transforms into an interactive game board when Smash Studio’s installation *To Those Who Wait* takes its place at Vaksala Square. Lasers and sound guide you through the game board’s levels. To move forward, you’ll need patience, teamwork, and the ability to press the button at exactly the right moment.
Welcome to Värmetorget!
Grab a coffee, rest your feet, and visit the festival’s main partners at Värmetorget on Vaksala Square. Värmetorget is open every evening during Allt ljus på Uppsala and is presented in collaboration with Hyrtältet, Löfbergs, and IKEA.
Here, a cup of coffee costs just a Swish donation to a charitable cause or a good deed!

Uppsala Konsert & Kongress is not a participating organizer of Allt ljus på Uppsala. We are open according to our regular hours and during concerts and other events held at the venue. You’re warmly welcome to visit when we’re open!
