About the Performance

When Princess Sofia’s heart turns to ice, she leaves her lonely castle in search of the place where happiness dwells. What follows is a heartwarming tale of courage, friendship, and the power of love to melt even the deepest cold. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, the fairy tale comes to life through dance, imaginative characters, and music by Mozart, Vivaldi, Grieg, and others.

The stage features internationally acclaimed dancers from some of Europe’s leading ballet companies, together with Etoile Production. Handmade costumes, atmospheric set design, and live music from a string quartet create an experience that appeals to both those encountering ballet for the first time and those who already love the art form. A Christmas performance where the magic of winter takes center stage and the whole family can share in the wonder.
