About the Performance
Few groups can boast such an impressive list of achievements—the KaRAMELodikt Prize, the Monica Zetterlund Scholarship, the Friends of Tage Danielsson Prize, the Taube Scholarship, and the Zorn Gold Medal. Together, Orsa Spelmän, Tina Ahlin, and Bengan Janson form a musical dream team.
In the spring of 2026, the group was a huge hit, playing to sold-out venues across the country—and now they’re back with a new tour of Sweden in 2027!
With their hearts deeply rooted in the Swedish musical heritage, they offer an evening filled with warmth, joy of playing, and masterful interaction. The repertoire is rich in classics and gems from collaborations with greats such as Benny Andersson, Hasse Alfredson, Sven-Bertil Taube, Robert Broberg, Allan Edwall, and Olle Adolphson – just to name a few.
