Take your seat on the throne
Your Majesty! Please take your seat on the throne, try on the cloak and crown, and have your picture taken.
Today we’re hosting a visit from the Uppsala Art Museum and the Uppsala Castle Historical Museum—and they’ve brought a real throne with them. The throne is from the exhibition *Queens*, which focuses on two of the Renaissance’s most powerful queens and tells stories of power, love, politics, and intrigue.
Museum staff will be on hand to share stories about the queens’ dramatic lives. Paper crowns will be handed out while supplies last.
No advance registration is required.
