About the Event
The Swedish Beach Tour and Sweden’s beach volleyball elite are returning to Uppsala! The summer’s big climax—the tour final—will take place at Vaksala Torg in Uppsala, where countless SBT competitions have been decided over the years, with Uppsala Konsert & Kongress serving as a stunning backdrop. Hundreds of metric tons of sand will be transported here and transformed into a center court framed by a perimeter fence, bleachers, music, and surrounding events—all combining to create a wonderful atmosphere where the sporting spectacle takes center stage.
The Tour Final, along with the Swedish Championships, is the most prestigious competition in Swedish beach volleyball. Spots in the starting field are reserved exclusively for the eight highest-ranked teams in the women’s and men’s divisions, respectively. The path to the tournament includes the other eight elite competitions held throughout the spring and summer, where the country’s top players will battle it out for glory, prize money, and those all-important ranking points.
The tournament at Vaksala Square begins on Friday, August 14, and continues with the playoffs on Saturday. On Sunday, the final showdown will take place, when the 2026 Tour Final champion will be crowned through the semifinals and medal matches.
