About the Performance

The audience favorite returns! After previous successes in the form of Fairytale for Christmas, the popular Irish Christmas show returns to Sweden – this time under the name Christmas in Ireland, and on November 30 it is time for a return visit to UKK. It’s the same warm mix of music, storytelling and Irish festive spirit that has made the tour a recurring favorite, but now in a new costume.

Christmas in Ireland takes you to a traditional Irish pub on Christmas Eve, where friends and strangers gather to share songs, stories and memories. With lively interpretations of Irish classics, powerful ballads and well-known Christmas songs, the show builds that special atmosphere that has made this tour so beloved: it’s heartfelt, entertaining and full of musical energy. From the producers of Seven Drunken Nights and performed by a strong ensemble of singers and musicians, the show features classic favorites like “Driving Home For Christmas”, “Dirty Old Town” and “Fairytale Of New York”.

This is not just a Christmas concert, but an evening where the Christmas spirit is topped with Irish pub warmth, a sing-along feel and the kind of camaraderie that makes the whole venue feel like a close-knit group of friends.
