Vinylkultur Uppsala and Uppsala Skivmässa invite you to a maximum diversified music experience outside UKK, with guaranteed good vinyl music and cozy togetherness!
DJs from Vinylkultur provide the music with lots of DJs playing their – and your? – favorite music. Uppsala Skivmässa has a number of exhibitors offering record bins filled with vinyl, CDs & cassettes with everything from cheap finds to hard-to-find rarities.

Loppis Poppis Pop-Up
The second-hand shop Loppis Poppis is coming to Lilla torget with a pop-up flea market filled with stylish, fun and unique finds. Come to us and shop away!
Loppis Poppis is a nice second hand and outlet store in Luthagen. In addition to second hand, they offer a varied range of new outlet finds such as women’s and men’s clothing, toys, cosmetics and fun things for the home.

Concert: La Liga Habanera
With a modern and soulful interpretation of Cuban timba, La Liga Habanera has made a strong impression on stages around Sweden and Europe. Now La Liga Habanera takes over the block party at Lilla torget on June 13 for a swinging concert where no one will be able to stand still.
La Liga Habanera was formed in Havana, the capital of Cuba, and is now based in Sweden. Since its inception, the band has become known for its modern, soulful and funky interpretation of Cuban timba – a music rooted in Afro-Cuban traditions.
The music draws inspiration from legendary Cuban bands such as Buena Vista Social Club, Los Van Van, Beny Moré, Havana D’Primera but also from Chicago’s Earth, Wind & Fire.
Together, La Liga Habanera’s singers create a powerful, dynamic expression where dense voices are juxtaposed with charismatic lead vocals. The rhythm section brews an Afro-Cuban groove, the horns deliver energy and explosive joy, while the piano and bass weave together intense syncopations and rhythmic figures that make it impossible to stand still.
As a lovely bonus, dancers from Uppsala Danscenter and Carlos & Friends offer salsa taster sessions, animation and social dancing that will get the whole audience involved in the rhythms. DJ Luis will be playing before and after the concert, keeping the dance floor alive all evening.
The audience at Lilla torget can look forward to a hot summer evening with a lively party atmosphere when the Caribbean Night visits Summer at UKK.
